* History of Tamil Nadu Part 3
* The Pandya Empire
The Phalaris removed the kings of Caladras in the south. Kangan and his son Moravarman Oyaneshwalamani restored the power of Pandya. The Pandya Sunnis extended their power to Chera Desh. His son Erikseri Pernatak Muravarman ruled from 650 to 700. It waged considerable wars and increased Pandya power. The Pandia extended their diplomatic relations to the Roman Empire. According to Marco Polo, it was the richest state of the 13th century.
The Pandya Marawarman allied with Rajesima Cholokia Vikramaditya II and attacked Nandivarman II, the king of Pallava. The river defeated Veragon Palovin in the battle of Cauvery. The Palau king Nandivarman allied with the feudal chiefs of the Congo and Chiara states to halt the increasing power of the Pandyan. Their armies fought different battles. In which the Pandya were victorious.
During the reign of Shrimara Srivallah, the Pandya kings invaded Sri Lanka and conquered 840 Northern territories. Paulava king Nandivarman Swam defeated Shrimara in the battle of Tilaro with the help of his allies. The Palau kingdom once again reached the Vaigai River. Another pandemic was discovered by the Panthians in the 848 Ariel-Palau blue kite. The Panthians subsequently accepted Palovin's supremacy. Around 850 AD, a confrontation between the Panthians and the Palovites gave Vijay Ilya the opportunity to occupy Danjore. Vijay Ilya with the help of his son Aditiya restored the Chola family in the Middle Ages. In 903 AD, he invaded the Paleo kingdom and in the war killed the Pelava king Aparjata and abolished the Pelava rule and dissolved the Chola king throughout the Panthia kingdom. During the reign of Rajendra Chola, in 1030, the Chola empire began to weaken with internal consolidation. Around 1118, Vikramaditya, the western Chalukya king, was conquered by the fourth Cholais, followed by the Ganges (southern Mysore districts). Rajinder Chola Swam was the last Chola king. Kupora, the captain of the Kadora, was arrested and taken to jail. And the Chola kingdom was completely destroyed.
The end of the Pandya kingdom
After keeping the Palovians and the Cholins out of power for centuries, Jatwaraman Sandra Pandya restored the glory of Pandya shortly after 1251 AD. And the Pandya power along the river Gudhuri dissipated from the Telugu kingdoms into the northern half of Sri Lanka. When 1308% of the Marawaramban Kalesekara Panda died, their two sons, Sandra Panda and Vera Pandya, fell to the throne. Taking advantage of this, General Malik Kafour of Delhi's empire conquered Madurai in 1311. The Pandya fled to the Tirunelveli area. Ravi Varman Klosshekar (1299-1314), the Chera chief under Pandya, claimed the Pandya throne. To strengthen the state, it came to southern Tamil Nadu and spread the entire area from Kanya Kumari to Kerala state of Kancheepuram. His posts are found in the city of Panama, Madras.
